Mark Gleason is Professor of Plant Pathology at the Iowa State University and was President of the American Phytopathological Society in 2020-2021. He will present his work and projects at a seminar on 23 September at 11am in the FR AIB seminar room.

Mark Gleason

Mark Gleason has been on the faculty of the ISU Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology for 37 years. His appointment includes research, teaching, and extension related to management of diseases of horticultural crops and commodities - fruits, vegetables, shade trees, ornamentals, and turfgrasses. He was Editor-in-Chief of the international research journal Plant Disease from 2013 to 2015 and  served as president of the American Phytopathological Society (APS) from 2020-2021.
